The Story Room Experience Branding | Bold Identity Design
When creating The Story Room Experience branding, the challenge was to capture the energy of a fast-paced creative environment while keeping the system simple, flexible, and easy to use. As a new business, it also needed to be applied quickly and consistently across everything from workshop materials to digital content.
The experience itself is built around five categories of prompt cards, so the identity needed to reflect that structure while staying bold and distinctive, avoiding predictable “film” or “writing” clichés. I used the cards as the core visual device, placing each letter of “STORY” within its own card to create a modular holding system that directly reflects how ideas are generated within the experience.
The slightly irregular alignment introduces movement and a sense of play, echoing the energy and unpredictability of the sessions, while the strong typography keeps the system grounded and confident. Colour plays a key role across the identity, with a vibrant palette mapped to the five prompt categories to bring clarity and structure to the system.
The result is a flexible, easy-to-use identity that supports fast-paced workshop delivery, consistent content creation, and gives the business a clear and recognisable presence across digital and physical touchpoints.
